Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

CBT:  Using  Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, we address thoughts, interactions, patterns  and misunderstandings.  This helps to reduce negativity in communication, and develops more positive, supportive interactions. It promotes hearing out other’s perspectives. With practice, clients adjust to listening with kindness and compassion instead of judgment and criticism.

Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy

This approach re-builds connection in the relationship. It identifies the negative cycle that distances couples due to conflict, and allows the emotional wounds to be considered and understood.  When working with this model, you learn listening, clarifying and supporting kinds of behaviours, thereby transitioning to a tuned-in level of attachment.
